We'll be adding more to this page in time, but for now we just have downloadable PDFs of our own research papers: the International Snow Science Workshop 2006 paper on the AK Block test, the ISSW 2004 preliminary AK Block paper, and a paper our student intern Kent Scheler wrote for the Western Snow Conference. The ISSW 2006 AK block paper has been updated to correct several minor errors in the version published in the proceedings. We are seeking people to help with studies to refine the AK Block sizing table for ISSW 2008. If you and a helper can contribute at least one three-block test set, contact us. The more individual testers and snow conditions we can incorporate into the data set, the more accurate the final table will be. We are finally done with the winter rush and back to work on this project, and hope to have contributors' guidelines and an Excel data submission form posted here soon. |
